Convicts

Robots and dolls - I have a love affair with building convict themed dolls and robots.  My great, great grandparents were both sent to Van Dieman's Land in the 1820's.  Jock Gibb was a Scostman sent here for 7 years.  Jane Huntington was sent from England for 7 years.  Both guilty of minor crimes of survival like many others.  Jane was based at South Hobart Female Factory and Jock worked on road building gangs.  They married at the Scots Church in Bothwell in the early 1830's.
